Steelhead landed at Walnut Creek.
This was the first time I ever saw the same Steelhead get caught twice in the same day. It’s jaw was disfigured and that made it very obvious that is was the same fish.
Steelhead landed at Walnut creek during a fall trip.
This Steelhead decided to to take off down stream and luckily I was able to fallow him and eventually land him.
Another Steelhead caught at the tubes during a fall steelhead trip. It was late October and the conditions were perfect for the entire week. This steelhead cranked a white roostertail. They were slamming roosters and minnows all day.
Steelhead caught on a single egg during a fall fishing trip. At the tubes again. I mean in a few days we hammered steelies at the tubes. There was really no time to leave. Had a blast. We went back to the tubes basically the same time the following year and there was not one steelhead up to the tubes.
Eric lands his first Steelhead during a fall trip on Elk criq and I was able to get in on video. How awesome is that?
We had a blast on this trip catching the majority of the Steelies on white roostertails (which in my opinion is the most exciting way to catch em’).
